SALVATION TERM RESUMPTION & ONGOING ONLINE CLASSES

Sequel to the October 8 resumption announced by the Ogun State Government, JSS1, SS1, all new students, SS3 IGSCE Cambridge students and College Council Members will resume on Wednesday October 8, 2014. Returning JSS2, JSS3, SS2 and SS3 will resume on Sunday October 12, 2014 from 1.00pm.

In order to ensure students do not just stay home doing nothing, we plan to set up chat rooms (social media) for each year on www.examtime.com to enable the students engage with subject teachers at certain times of the day, 9:00am - 12:00noon, Monday - Friday. Detailed chat schedules and how to log in to these chatrooms has been mailed to parents. It is our hope that all our students will avail themselves of these services. We plan to take attendance during these chat room sessions.

You can change the Username to your child's name and password that he or she will remember. He/she can then join the discussion session. Three (3) teachers will be online daily during these hours.

The online lessons will start on Tuesday 9 to Friday 19, September 2014.

TELEPHONES: We have also invested in extra phone lines so that students can call their year tutors to get information/ask for help or report issues. Years Tutors will be able to counsel and refer students when necessary during this break. Year Tutor JSS 1 Mrs Akinsola - 07080306258, JSS 2 Mrs Atigbi - 08150680739, JSS 3 Mrs Ayoade - 08150680733, SS1 Mr Enegho - 08150680740, SS2 Mr. Odumeru - 08170614404, SS3 Mr. Adeyemo – 08170614402, SS3 IGSCE Mr Ejeh - 09020837116,

PRINCII’S BREAKFAST: On the 23rd of August, we held the 4th edition of our Princii's Breakfast, a forum where we had breakfast/talk and got to know all our in-coming parents and then collect uniforms and books in preparation for the start of the new school year. In recognition of the need to adhere to current standards of sanitary protocols we used an infra-red temperature scanner and had all guests sanitized before access to the college premises. A practice which we plan to continue as long as the Ebola alert is out. During the entire duration of the programme no one was reported to have even a slight temperature. You can all then imagine my shock when we began to get calls saying the school reported an Ebola victim. There has never been, nor will there ever be an outbreak of any disease in Christ The Redeemer's College, ChristHill. Ogun State has not recorded any victim of the Ebola disease, it is therefore mischievous for these reports to be made by anyone. Parents, please be rest assured that we are safe and we are keeping safe on all fronts. Please spread the good word of the Truth on our behalf.
